1. What’s Covered
a) 6-Month Plating & Manufacturing Warranty
All Vibhaya products purchased from www.vibhaya.com come with a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering:
- Plating defects (peeling, discolouration, or fading under normal use and proper care)
- Manufacturing defects (broken clasps, loose stone settings, structural issues)
If your product qualifies, we will repair or replace it free of charge. If the exact product is out of stock, we will offer a replacement of equal value or store credit.
b) Lifetime Replating Service
Beyond the 6-month warranty period, Vibhaya offers a Lifetime Replating Service for all products purchased from our website:
- 0–6 months from delivery: Free replating (customer pays one-way shipping only)
- 6–12 months from delivery: Replating at a nominal service fee of ₹299 + shipping
- Beyond 12 months: Replating at ₹499 + shipping
This service ensures your Vibhaya jewellery stays as stunning as the day you bought it — for life.
2. What’s NOT Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear from daily use
- Damage caused by mishandling, accidents, impact, or negligence
- Tarnishing or discolouration caused by exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, or sweat
- Loss of stones from the product due to impact or improper handling
- Products not purchased from www.vibhaya.com (marketplace purchases follow marketplace warranty terms)
- Products without a valid order number or proof of purchase
- Damage caused by third-party repairs or alterations
3. How to Claim Warranty
- Email care@vibhaya.com with your order number, clear photographs of the issue, and a brief description of the problem.
- Our team will review your claim within 48 hours and confirm eligibility.
- If approved, you will receive instructions to ship the product to our service centre. Vibhaya will cover return shipping for claims within the 6-month warranty period.
- Turnaround time for repair/replacement is typically 7–14 business days from receipt of the product.
4. Warranty Does Not Equal Returns
Please note: warranty claims are separate from the 7-day return policy. Warranty covers manufacturing and plating defects that emerge during normal use over time. It does not entitle the holder to a cash refund — warranty claims are resolved through repair, replacement, or store credit only.
